Dubrovnik's Old Port. Then driving south along the Dalmation Coast

Stopping for cappucinos on the beach in Cavtat (between Dubrovnik and the airport south of town)

The Bay of Kotor in Montenegro - the deepest natural fjord in the Mediteranean Sea, and the scenery around it (including the steep mountains which come almost to the waterfront) is spectacular. Montenegro means Black Mountain.

Stopping off the road for lunch in an Oasis with bubbling brooks and a mountain view and fantastic food. Plus a Montenegrin Chardonnay that one of the best white wines I've ever had!

As we work our way around the Bay of Kotor, we stop in small towns like Perast (below) and go for a swim!

Kotor - sits in the most secluded part of the Bay with a UNESCO heritage site Old Town.

Its fantastic just getting lost in old town Kotor's winding alleyways.

We kept driving around the bay and this is where we're getting the ferry back to the side we started on to save lots of time.

Sunset while driving back to Dubrovnik. Its quick - it goes from dusk to pitch black in about 30 minutes!

Walking along the beachfront by our hotel on Lapad penninsula.
