Margaret River Wineries

We woke up in a chalet in Margaret River. Today, we're touring the wineries.


But first, my new favorite flower - the kangaroo paw.


We went to Surfers Point to see the surfers!


And here's where the mouth of the Margaret River meets the sea.




Then we walked on a homestead to a waterfall.

Perth's Kings Park

On Friday I went to work again and Mike took a tour of Perth and did some walking around King's Park.

Perth & Fremantle

Mike flew to Perth with me in Western Australia. Today I worked while Mike biked around Rottness Island, but I met Mike in Fremantle for dinner. Perth sits inland on the Swan River, but follow it to the coast and you're at Fremantle!




We stopped in at The Little Creatures microbrewery to try their Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Bright Ale and Pilsner.







Gotta love to remember how big Australia is!


Back in Perth. Its weird to see Xmas decorations in such warm weather in the Central Business District.

Perth & Rottness Island

While I worked, Mike took a boat out of Perth, down the Swan River and out to Rottness Island and rented a bike and did the 20+kilometer loop.
