Cremorne & Mosman walks

We did 2 foreshore walks today: a circuit around Cremorne Point and then the Mosman Bay to Taronga Zoo walk and back.

Iron Cove Bay Run walk

Iron Cove Bridge goes from Drummoyne to Rozelle and the walk is a great circuit around Iron Cove Bay. We started at Birkenhead Point, then walked over the bridge to Rozelle and walked clockwise.







I'm not sure what the animal on the sign is. I'm thinking a possum?

Balmain to Birchgrove walk

Balmain was once a workingclass suburb with tiny 19th century cottages. The walk we did goes through all the backstreets of the villages to little wharves and harbourside parks. Then we go through Birchgrove's mansions, by Dawn Fraser pool and end up back on Darling Street.




The old Colgate Palmolive buildings are made into expensive lofts.

Hunters Hill & Woolwich walk

Mike got this book on Sydney's Best Harbour & Coastal Walks so we've started exploring all the different neighborhoods around Sydney harbour and checking out the local villages, cafes, pubs, houses and boats! First up is Hunters Hill - a walk through gorgeous houses down to Woolwich wharf.
